Serving, Passing, & Defense Camp
Serving, Passing, & Defense Camp - July 15 & 16
ALL CAMPS ARE OPEN TO GIRLS RISING 7TH GRADE TO RISING 12TH GRADE

About
This camp is designed to develop the essential skills that control the flow of the game — serving, passing, and defense. Athletes will focus on building confidence, consistency, and strong fundamentals while refining the mechanics and decision-making behind each skill.
Campers will receive high-repetition training through drills focused on serving strategy, serve-receive technique, defensive movement, and overall ball control. Our coaching staff will work closely with athletes to fine-tune details such as platform angles, footwork, reading attackers, and serving variations including float, jump topspin, and hybrid serves.
Throughout camp, athletes will learn how these skills translate into real-game situations — from applying pressure at the service line to controlling first contact and extending rallies with strong defensive play.
We’ll also incorporate video sessions studying elite players and teams to better understand what makes high-level serving, passing, and defense effective.
Campers will also have the opportunity to participate in Q&A sessions with current Long Beach State players and staff, gaining insight into technique, training, and the experience of playing collegiate volleyball.
